Rustic Trails have found superb accommodation in the heart of our region; an old winemaker's house offering 400 square metres of living space which has been completely renovated by its owners, and has earned extremely high ratings from Tripadvisor and Google.
Accommodation
The enormous lounge has many comfortable sofas, a well stocked English library, and a dining table easily seating fourteen. It's a beautiful, light but cool room in summer.
All the bedrooms are spacious, bright and airy, with large beds, luxurious duvets and plenty of storage. All have en-suite bathrooms which are modern and well equipped, with very large showers or a bath and shower. A hair dryer is provided in all bathrooms.
Gardens
Around the house, the very large lawned garden of nearly one and a half acres is planted with fruit trees, olives, walnuts, flowers and shrubs. The organic vegetable garden provides fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs, all featuring strongly in your daily meals. The huge south facing terrace, with teak furniture to seat fourteen, overlooks the pool and enjoys superb views. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast or a delicious evening meal.
Swimming Pool
The 11 by 5 metre fenced pool is open from May to early October, and there are plenty of sun loungers, parasols and other garden furniture available. You could take a refreshing swim before breakfast, or after a busy day walking or sightseeing.
Village
Your accommodation is in Saillans, a village with Roman origins on the Drome river. The village has a twelfth century church, several restaurants and bars, shops, post office, and a thriving Sunday market. It's a charming, unspoilt village, with narrow cobbled alleyways, ancient buildings, a beautiful river, and lovely views of the hills and mountains.

A no smoking policy is operated inside the house for the comfort of other guests.
A wi-fi internet connection is available free of charge, so staying in touch with work, friends or family couldn't be easier.
