Grand Pomerolle

An excellent walk along one side of the syncline, with great views south and west.

Rimon et Savel

A popular flat walk with several options to extend the circuit, with stunning views across the Diois from a thousand metres above the valley.

Vallon de Combeau

The Mecca for flower spotters, there’s everything here plus wildlife galore.


Col de Grimone

An exciting circuit west of the Diois, an alpine landscape with breathtaking views and interesting flora and fauna.

Foret de Saou

The mysterious forested area inside the perched syncline is like the land that time forgot. Easy walking or very hard if you want to climb the 3 Becs from the inside.

Col de la Bataille, Plateau d’Ambel

Walk along the edge of the Vercors plateau, an easy way to get terrific views north and south.


Col de Rousset, Plateau de Beure

Theoretically a ski resort, now with some summer activities, there are vultures galore soaring overhead, plenty of wild flowers and dramatic views.

Chironne

An interesting circuit up the old mule track near the Col de Rousset, with various options to extend the walk.

Gigors et Lozeron

A lovely undulating walk around the Gigors area, gorgeous views and many orchids in spring.


Les 3 Becs

The ‘rock’ dominates the region, it’s a terrific walk offering panoramic views towards the Rhone, Provence and the Alps, with newly renovated paths and several circuit options.

Chateau de Barry

A medium grade walk with views from the chateau ruins; you will wonder how people lived here.

Cirque d’Archiane

A sheltered circuit offering unspoilt beauty, rare orchids and wildife opportunities.


Bezaudun

A short but interesting circuit, over twenty different orchid species can be found here in May. Lovely views and easy walking.

Canyon des Gueulards

An unusual walk for the region with interesting scenery.

Ombleze - Gervanne river walk

Paddle across the Gervanne river twenty times through beautiful woodland surrounded by cliffs to reach the superb waterfall at the end.


Cresta

A big rock with excellent views.
